Creating a situation center (SC) today is a necessary condition for improving the effectiveness of management activities for corporations and for state-owned companies and services. SP is a complex organizational and technical, based on the information-analytical systems, monitoring tools, visualization and display, as well as predictive models and patterns of development.
The ultimate goal of creating a SP is to improve the efficiency and quality of management decisions, to prevent emergencies and to address them promptly.

 

The main objectives a situation center are:

  • monitoring of the current state of the object by the given parameters;
  • transmission and presentation of observational data objects in the monitoring center;
  • analytical processing of data, forecasting the development of the situation;
  • submission of the final forms for management decisions;
  • voice and video communication between center staff and workers at the facilities of observation;
  • integration of information-analytical systems for peer review of decisions and their optimization;
  • visualization of data observations.

 

Creating a situation center is a complex many-stage project. To implement an effective decision support system design is made SC, SC engineering training facilities, installation and configuration of equipment, staff training SC, commissioning and maintenance of SC.
